I Am Your Child

Back in 1994 I was ending my tenure as a Youth and Music minister and entering my first Senior Pastorate.  At the time I had two young sons who needed to hold my hand crossing the street and walking through parking lots.  Often I would think of needing the heavenly Father to hold my hand as I made huge life choices.  I was 36 at the time and thought I had experienced hard times and difficult news.  Little did know know what the future would hold.  In fact none of us know what’s coming next.  During those difficult times this song would minister to my heart.  Reminding me that I am God’s child.  As difficult days came I knew I had a heavenly Father who would hold me and carry me through.  I hope this song brings you comfort as you listen.
