This song was inspired by the story of the Prophet Elisha and his servant found in 2 Kings 6:8-23. Here we find the servant in fear for his life when Elisha tells him to look again and prays for God to open his eyes. In the answer to that prayer the servant sees an army of angelic soldiers with blazing chariots surrounding the enemy. Too often we find ourselves surrounded by the enemy and not realize that God’s army is right there ready to fight for us. My hope is that this song encourages you to trust in the Lord in your difficult times. Blessings!
