I Love Thy Church, O Lord

Over the years I’ve found myself wanting to update the old hymns of the church with a newer and perhaps fresh beat.  I’m amazed at how much old Rock n Roll has affected my musical tastes.  This remake certainly has an old rock feel.  This hymn is a song of praise to our Lord for His love for the body of Christ, His Church.  It proclaims His sacrifice by His shedding His blood for each one of us.  For us we are to love the Church, His Kingdom.  Our service, our praise, and our gratitude is reflected in our love for His Church.  As we sing these verses we realize His tremendous sacrifice for us which in turn causes us to rejoice and to love Him more. May these verses of this great old hymn refresh your worship and our love for Christ and His Church. Blessings!
