Just For You

This song was written after reading and inspiring book by Max Lucado (“The Lucado Inspirational Ready”).  That thought that Jesus could have used his power to change the world and make it comfortable for himself.  When traveling with his disciples he could have commanded grass to grow on the ground where he laid down for the night.  Jesus could have used his power to transport them instantly to their destination on a whim.  What Jesus chose to do was to live like us.  He limited himself so we could identify with him.  Born in poverty, worked hard along with his earthly father, and became a traveling Rabi to share the message of the Kingdom of God.  And he did it just for you because he loves you.  Now that’s an amazing thought.
